The experience of this blog was good and gratifying. I believe that this activities are useful for us, because are instances in that the students can write personal things, such a opinions about differents themes, things that like us, and aspects that generally dont talk free at the university. I think that this blog is gratifying because we can talk in completely freedom, we can be ourselves in front of things that involve us. Also, the development of this blog was a great tool to learn and practice daily a little more English, which is a great help for all students. I must admit that at beginning I thought that this activity was just more work, but now I realize that I was wrong, since I do not think there is anything better than talking about the subjects that interest me, and at the same time practicing writing and pronunciation from language. Since I study in the university, I don’t have much time for myself, because in that institution I have had to occupy my free time in the week for my tests, works and presentations, so I don’t worry for cook some delicious plate to eat. However, I like very much the cuisine, and always that I have some time I try to cook with my father and mother. It’s very funny, because my parents like listen music while they cook like a Miguel Bosé, Marco Antonio Solís and Luis Fonsi, with his new theme “Despacito”. The recipe that I most do is spaghetti, because is a simple plate that requires a few time and is delicious. First, I boil a package of pasta with 2 letters of water and I add a pinch of salt and a little of oil. When the pasta is ready after 10 or 12 minutes, I add sauce of tomatoes and same accompaniment, like a meat, onions, peppers and garlic. I have always thought that I am a person who does not disagree with many things. However, the thing that really dislike me is the hypocrite people. When I was a kid, my mother always teaches me that the sincerity is the most important thing about social relations, because when the people lie frequently the trust is lost, and according to her, it hurts. Now that I’m older, I can understand that she tell men in that times. The hypocrite, superficial and prejudiced people bring nothing in your life, because the confidence is the most important thing in this world. I believe that that people will not get nothing with that attitude, and I think that a lot of these people can still change, and with this change a little part of world.

The subject that I like in this semester is Photo-Journalism. In that class I’m with the teacher Miguel Ángel Larrea. Since I was a little kid I like the photography, and when I knew that I would have it as subject I was very happy. In this subject, the teacher teaches us all about it, like a the principal photo techniques, the different angles a picture can have, the importance of the lights and how they influence the quality, and also the different types of pictures . I believe that is very important learn about this, because with the photography I can make better my works in the university, such an informational notes, reports and interviews. I think that a good picture can better show the news that I reported, because it shows the principals elements that make it. For this, I believe that when I be a journalist in the future is very important that I have a lot of knowledge of photography, so this subject is very useful and interesting.

Juan Cristobal Guarello is a famous and acclaimed Chilean journalist and writer who has worked in different media in Chile. It was national prize of Journalism the year 2011. Guarello has been in different events about sports, like a Soccer World Cup of France, Sudafrica and Brasil. Also, this journalist has been in the matches of the Chilean selection in the qualifiers for the diverse competitions. I like Guarello because is a good communicator and interesting person. The characteristic that I like is his clarity to talk, since he is not afraid to say that thinks, although that he has often had problems in the places where he works. This journalist has worked in different media, such a Radio ADN, Canal 13, Radio Futuro and others. When I am a journalist, I would like to be like a Guarello, because I believe that is very important to say the reality of this country, since with that promotes the search for the democratic society.

This photograph is very special for me. It was taken in the winter holidays of 2015 by Sebastian, my best friend. The photo shows a very relaxed moment with my friends Bastian and Bruno on the roof of a house in Curicó, in southern Chile. I remember that I was playing the ukulele and my friends sang with the rhythm of the Bruno’s yembe. I really love this photo, because from just seeing it I can remember the tranquility that was to be in that place. The cold mornings, the warm weather and nature made me feel alive, and even more so if it was with the company of good friends. I would like to go back to that place right now. Forget about all the problems and stress that is experienced in the city and just laughing with my friends 

When I was a kid I loved watching TV. I remember my grandfather showed me for the first time the caricature Tom and Jerry. I really liked because my grandfather always supported the mouse,  while I used to be sad because of the misadventures of Tom the cat. Another caricature that I liked very much as a child was "Courage the cowardly dog", that was about a dog that did everything possible to protect his masters from terrible monsters. I think that caricature helped me a lot to learn certain values ​​that I maintain until today, such as being empathy with my loved ones and protect they. I think caricatures are crucial to the development of the personality and thoughts of all of us. My favorite piece of technology is PlayStation. This device is a console with a different functions, but my favorite is to play videogames. When I have a little time (because my week is very busy with academic demand) I play FIFA 17. That videogame is very funny, because I play with my friends online and I’m the best HAHAHA, it’s a joke, but I like it very much. Besides that game in this console you can use different apps, like a YouTube and Netflix, both platforms very popular currently. With that applications you can watch a lot of videos and good movies. In summary, it’s very entertaining to use the PlayStation, and my life without that console will be empty L

When i was a kid, my dream was always to be a great journalist. Since my childhood, i saw the journalists commenting the principal’s events that happen in the TV, and I liked that. So, I didn’t have many options to work in the future. Specifically, I would like in the future to work in some media related with sports. I always wanted this area, and my dream in some years is to be a recognized journalist that has to cover a massive event of that, such a cup of soccer, a tournament of tennis or the Olympics Games that meets an athletes from around de world. Until now, my university experience has been very good. The teachers and subjects are incredible!

My autobiography I’m Yerko Ignacio Ávila Escrig. I was born in Santiago of Chile in 1997. I’m 19 years old and in this moment I live in La Florida of the same city. In my house i live together with my father Rodrigo (52 years old), mother Orietta (50), my sister Paloma (23) and my two charming dogs: Martin and Mateo. I study journalism at the Universidad de Chile and I’m in the second year. I study this career because I would like in the future to be a good communicator in this country. I would like in next years to be a journalist with a critical opinion in different areas, such a politic, culture, music, sports, etc. My principal hobbies are play guitar with my friends, practice soccer or tennis in my commune, or read a many books in my free time.
